
Start: Intersection of Greenspring and Beechwood over by the Maryland Zoo.
East on Beechwood to Swann Drive Left onto Swann Drive.
Continue past the 3-way intersection at the Mansion House. The road name changes to East Drive. Run past the swimming pool.
Left onto the service road at the end of the swimming pool.
Right turn onto Red Road and enter "The Bowl.
Run around the ball fields. Right turn onto Shop Road.
Right turn onto Red Road back to East Drive.
Right turn onto East Drive to 3-way Mansion House intersection.
Right turn onto the Mansion House loop. Veer to the right and run around the loop.
Right turn onto Swann Drive
Right turn onto Beechwood.
Finish vicinity of the Memorial Oak Grove after you pass the Maryland Zoo parking lots.
Founded in 2000 as part of the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix Series, the event grew rapidly to the point of thousands of participants from both RRCA clubs and non-affiliated running groups such as the Baltimore Pacemakers, Black Girls Run, NCR Trail Snails, Moms Run This Town, Hash House Harriers, and many other running clubs and groups.
